There are moments in life when recognition feels like a quiet embrace, a sign that the path we’ve walked has truly mattered.Reading a feature about my journey gave me exactly that feeling: gratitude for what I’ve experienced and motivation to continue with even more purpose.

When I began my work with ApsiVida Psicologia Integrada in Brasília, my goal was simple: to care for people. But life has a way of expanding horizons in unexpected ways. A few years later, I traveled to the United States for leisure, accompanied by my wife, who wanted to improve her English to return to Brazil more prepared.During this trip, I met people and heard stories that deeply inspired me, naturally sparking my interest in American culture and its nuances. This curiosity gradually grew and opened my eyes to new possibilities for learning and serving others.

Over time, I decided to deepen my experience in healthcare and graduated as a Dental Assistant in the United States.This stage taught me that technical knowledge becomes more meaningful when combined with empathy and social commitment. It was through this process that my desire to serve the community gained a broader dimension, transforming a personal experience into a life mission.

Feeling the need to share what I had learned, I published the book “Project and Event Management in Healthcare: Leadership, Volunteer and Social Impact for Dental Assistants and Hygienists”.In it, I aimed to provide tools and inspiration for other healthcare professionals to develop projects that combine technical competence with social impact, turning care into tangible action.

Even while gaining international experience, I have never lost sight of my roots.Having lived closely with the communities of Brazil’s Federal District, I carry that strength with me. Today, I bring this spirit to the world, showing that talent, service, and solidarity can also emerge from our Brazilian communities.

Every experience, every person served or inspired, every project completed reminds me that true growth comes from serving others.Soon, I will return to Brazil with new lessons, ready to continue transforming lives through ApsiVida and projects like “Todos Pela Vida”, which continue to thrive in symbolic places in Brasília, such as Praça do Relógio and Parque da Cidade.
