ToothTalk by Alex is a platform created to share experiences, connect professionals, and inspire transformation in health, education, leadership, and human development. More than dentistry, we believe in building bridges between people, knowledge, and society — contributing to global health and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our Story
2015 – The Beginning The project was born under the name IDRComm (Intelligent Doctor Communication) as a pilot initiative focused on communication and knowledge exchange in healthcare.
2015 – 2024 – Maturity and Growth Over the years, the project matured, with experiences in dentistry, health management, education, and community impact. During this time, Alex worked in Brazil, Japan, and the United States, gaining an international perspective and building a network of collaborations.
2025 – The Launch of ToothTalk by Alex After completing his Dental Assistant training in the United States, Alex officially launched ToothTalk by Alex, a platform that reflects his personal vision and commitment to innovation in healthcare and human development.
Why the Name “ToothTalk by Alex”?
Tooth – Clearly communicates our connection with dentistry and oral health.
Talk – Represents dialogue, learning, and the sharing of ideas.
By Alex – Adds a personal signature and identity, adapted for global communication (Alex being easier to pronounce in the U.S. and internationally than Alessandro).

Books
He is the author of two books:
Project and Event Management in Healthcare for Dental Assistants and Hygienists A practical guide that helps dental professionals plan, organize, and lead successful initiatives in clinics and communities. It introduces strategies in risk management, team leadership, volunteering, and innovation. The book shows how routine tasks can be transformed into projects that strengthen dental practices, create social impact, and advance professional careers.
Awakening The Millionaire Mind: Purposes Above Profit A journey of human, emotional, and spiritual development, guiding readers to rediscover their identity and strengthen their relationship with God. It presents a new perspective on business where financial health walks hand in hand with inner peace and a positive impact on others. Just as in volunteering, true impact in business is born from vision and altruism. The book demonstrates that it is possible to harmonize faith, finances, and entrepreneurship—prospering according to God’s principles by serving others and building bridges that benefit society as a whole.
Article
And also the author of one article:
Empowering Dental Assistants Through Volu nteering: Building Culturally CompetentCare for America’s Vulnerable Populations The article analyzes volunteerism as an educational and social strategy in the training of Oral Health Technicians (Brazil) and Dental Assistants (United States). Based on experiential earning theories, cultural competence, and intersectionality, it combines a systematic literature review with eight years of practice in multicultural contexts. The findings show that volunteerism develops technical, ethical, and intercultural competencies, supports the integration of immigrant professionals, and promotes health equity. The study recommends incorporating volunteer activities into oral health curricula, recognizing volunteerism as a transformative pedagogical tool and a pathway toward social justice in healthcare.

At ToothTalk by Alex, we believe that our mission goes beyond the content we create, the services we offer, and the community we serve. Our purpose is evolving, and we are increasingly aware that our responsibility includes leaving a legacy for future generations. We understand that education and communication—especially when driven by real-life experience—can and should become vehicles for broader social impact.
For this reason, we are preparing to initiate sustainability-focused projects aligned with values we deeply believe in: the fight against poverty and hunger, support for underserved communities, and the protection of our planet through responsible and meaningful actions. These future efforts will be guided by the three fundamental pillars of sustainability: environmental care, social development, and economic balance.
We recognize, as stated in the United Nations' Brundtland Report, that these pillars are interconnected. Our vision is to develop actions in harmony with this perspective—believing that a better world is built when environmental protection, human dignity, and economic progress advance together.
As we continue to grow, we intend to align our future initiatives with the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals include critical areas such as poverty eradication, zero hunger, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, decent work, reduced inequalities, climate action, and more. We believe that even small, intentional steps taken through education and community engagement can create long-term, systemic change.
We understand that the impact of our platform can go further than originally imagined. It is not just about preparing individuals for exams or professional careers—it is about planting seeds that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and respect the planet.
That is why we are committed to building a foundation today that supports a more just, inclusive, and sustainable tomorrow. We see ToothTalk by Alex not only as a platform for learning, but as a space that encourages awareness, purpose, and action.
