When purpose meets courage, even the unexpected turns into a beautiful journey.

Some time ago, my wife and I decided to take a short trip abroad, just a brief getaway at first. But during that trip, something special happened: she felt inspired to continue her education here in the United States. Together, we decided to follow that call and take a step forward.
We applied for authorization from the U.S. government, and with deep gratitude, our request was approved. That’s how this new chapter of our lives began, a season filled with growth, learning, and self-discovery that continues to transform us in many ways.
While she focuses on her studies, I’ve taken the opportunity to expand my knowledge in the field of oral health. I enrolled in a Dental Assistant school and have completed several courses in dentistry and oral care. Every new lesson has been an investment in our future, knowledge that I look forward to bringing back to Brazil and applying with purpose and passion.

Even though we’re living a truly enriching experience, Brazil remains our home, and we already miss everyone deeply. Our goal has always been to learn, grow, and return with new insights that can help us serve others even better.
Recently, I had the honor and pleasure of joining Sônia Cardoso’s program, a space of inspiration and genuine connection. It was a wonderful opportunity to share part of our journey and to encourage others to believe in their dreams, to keep moving forward, and to understand that it’s never too late to begin again.
✨ If there’s one lesson I carry from this journey, it’s this:
“As long as there is breath, there is time to start over and shine — wherever we are.”
Taking part in this interview was a heartfelt experience. I spoke about faith, resilience, and how life can surprise us when we have the courage to step out of our comfort zone. Every word came from a place of gratitude, and I believe many people will connect with this story.
