It’s Never Too Late to Start Over: From Japan to ToothTalk by Alex

My life has always been made of fresh starts. And at 50, I decided to start over once again, first to fulfill old dreams that I never had the financial means to pursue in the past. Today I understand that putting a smile on my own face is also the force that drives me to inspire others to take care of themselves, their smile, their health, and their dreams.

Long before ToothTalk by Alex was born in the United States, my journey had already gained attention in Japan.

In 2004, I hosted the program “Escola x Escola” on IPCTV, an initiative that became a reference in promoting Brazilian culture and education to the immigrant community. The Japanese media covered this work — including IPCTV NEWS — not out of vanity, but because communication there was truly transforming lives and restoring identities.

In the following years, my entrepreneurial spirit continued to thrive, and once again the press followed my steps. Leading magazines published articles about my work as someone who combined business vision with social sensitivity, offering real solutions to the market. It was in this context that I launched TV Shop Legal, a platform designed to empower Brazilian entrepreneurs in Japan: promoting brands, connecting opportunities, and creating tools so others could grow with greater independence.

These experiences shaped who I am. I learned that entrepreneurship is about serving: opening paths, encouraging fresh starts, and facilitating access to opportunities that change lives.

Today, at ToothTalk by Alex, I bring all of this together — health and communication — to transform lives. It’s not just about teeth or aesthetics; it’s about restoring confidence, encouraging self-care, and reigniting hope that it is always possible to begin again. Every person who truly smiles again reminds me why this mission matters.

If you are reading this, here’s my invitation to you: start over. Take care of yourself, your smile, your health, and your dreams. Age doesn’t limit you; it empowers you — it brings maturity, purpose, and courage. And when you take that first step, your fresh start also inspires others to do the same.
